Jebel Al-Hash Day Hike in Wadi Rum
Experience one of the most rewarding hiking routes in Wadi Rum along the impressive ridge of Jebel Al-Hash. This exposed mountain ridge rises above Wadi Sabit, one of the most striking valleys in the southern part of Wadi Rum, stretching east to west for several kilometres and offering uninterrupted desert views.

Tour Description
The day begins with a scenic 45-minute drive to the base of Jebel Al-Hash. The hike starts with a gradual ascent along the rocky mountainside, leading to a broad plateau with expansive views across Wadi Sabit and the surrounding desert.
You will walk for approximately one hour along the ridge, where trace fossils can be observed in the rock formations. A short tea break is included before descending back down. The total hiking time is around three hours.
After returning to the valley floor, enjoy a picnic lunch in the shade. In the afternoon, continue with a scenic drive through Radat Salem toward Wadi Nuqra and its viewpoint. The journey proceeds to Um Sabatah, with a stop at a traditional Bedouin cistern, before ending the day with sunset views from Um Sabatah. Guests not staying overnight will return to Wadi Rum Village.
