Itinerary

Day 1 — Al Qasiyr to Jebel Burdah

Your adventure begins with a drive from Wadi Rum Rest House to Al Qasiyr, where the trek starts. The route leads across wide desert valleys and between towering sandstone mountains before reaching the peaceful Abu Khashaba Canyon.

After enjoying lunch on the far side of the canyon, the trek continues through scenic desert corridors toward Jebel Burdah, where we set up our first campsite. As the sun sets, relax by the campfire, share stories, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner beneath the desert sky.

Overnight: Wild camping

Day 2 — Burdah Arch to Radat Salm

After breakfast at camp, we begin the climb toward Burdah Arch, one of the most famous rock arches in Wadi Rum. The ascent includes sections of light scrambling, but the spectacular panoramic views from the top make the effort worthwhile.

After descending, we pause for lunch at the base of the mountain. The climb and return normally take around 2–3 hours. In the afternoon, the trek continues through open valleys toward Radat Salm, where we establish our second campsite and enjoy another peaceful desert evening.

Overnight: Wild camping

Day 3 — Radat Salm to Wadi Nuqra

Following breakfast, we continue along Radat Salm, walking along ancient Bedouin hunting paths once used to track ibex through the mountains.

Enjoy sweeping desert views before descending through impressive rock formations into Wadi Nuqra, where we stop for a relaxing lunch in the shade. In the afternoon, the trek continues across Um Amqur Valley before returning to Wadi Rum Rest House, arriving around 3:00 PM.
