Bedouin Trails Trek

Duration: 2 Days & 1 Night

Itinerary

Day 1 — Thadab Al-Riyh to Wadi Nuqra

Your adventure begins with a drive from Wadi Rum Rest House to Thadab Al-Riyh, where the trek starts. From here, follow a scenic desert valley surrounded by sandstone mountains and soft red sand dunes.

We’ll pause for lunch in the shade before continuing across the dune and through a series of narrow canyons leading toward Wadi Nuqra. In the late afternoon, climb to a nearby viewpoint to watch the sunset over Wadi Sabit, one of the most beautiful panoramas in southern Wadi Rum.

In the evening, relax around the campfire and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner while spending the night under the desert sky.

Overnight: Wild camping in the desert.

Day 2 — Radat Salm to Um Amqur

After breakfast, the trek continues along Radat Salm, following ancient Bedouin hunting trails once used to track ibex across the mountains.

Enjoy sweeping desert views before descending through impressive rock formations to reach a shaded spot for lunch at the base of the mountains. The final part of the hike crosses a wide open valley toward the quiet area of Um Amqur.

From here, we return by vehicle to Wadi Rum Rest House, arriving around 3:00 PM.
